I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Dave was here for the Sunday and Monday. On Sunday I saw Jeff, Becky and Ben and then on Monday I saw Eric, Lisa and Ellie. Two good days where I all I did was sit and visit. Tuesday comes along and I'm ready for another wonderful day....
Nope. The doctors had mentioned something about my energy likened unto a box about 5 inches by 5 inches. They said if I use up all my energy then I will be pretty worthless the next day. I found out what pretty worthless meant. I was able to drink my calorie drinks but ended up sleeping all night, all day and all night too. Wow. I never knew someone could really do that Actually I had a little life around 6 pm enough to eat and walk around. Energy is a scarce commodity for me still.
I gained 1.4 pound and did a good turn daily. It feels good to accomplish even one goal.
I am hoping that I will continue to feel good enough to consider coming home soon.
I had some wonderful visitors. My entire Relief Society Presidency came to visit to SLC and brought a quilt that had a lot of the sisters signature and a little cheery note. I cried and I hugged it. It is beautiful!! I love reading the many kind things that was written. I am so blessed so have such wonderful friends. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Then today, Becky and John Hauber came to visit. They have unofficially adopted Dave and Jeff and have been so good to check up on them.
All I have to say to end this is... I will follow God's plan for me. I know that Jesus Christ lives.
I know He is there to help us when we ask for His help and try to do our very best. I love Him.
Welcome home Linda, Colette and I wish you the best and that you continue to recover.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home Linda. Two of the girls I work with have colds, so I can't come and visit. I"m so glad that you are home though. Keep up the positive attitude. I'm sure it has made a big difference in your recovery as well as the prayers of everyone that love and miss you. I keep looking out my window to see if I see any movement........ So exciting to have you back in Paradise! Love, Janet Monroy
